IT'S BURLESQUEEEEEEEE

On Tuesday I went to the cinema to watch Burlesque with Cristina. Everytime we go to the movies we go to Yelmo Cines Ideal where they show movies in Original version ;)

El Martes fui al cine con Cristina a ver Burlesque. Cada vez que vamos al cine lo hacemos en los Yelmo Cines Ideal porque las películas son en V.O.S (Versión Original Subtitulada)

We absolutely loved the movie. The music is awesome, the performances are great and the choreographies are amazing. You cannot take you eyes off the screen!!!! Christina Aguilera's voice lets you speechless.

Nos encantó la película. La musica es increible, las actuaciones son geniales y las correografias impresionantes. Es imposible apartar la vista de la pantalla, y la voz de Christina Aguilera te deja sin palabras.

Storyline: The Burlesque Lounge has its best days behind it. Tess, a retired dancer and owner of the venue, struggles to keep the aging theater alive, facing all kinds of financial and artistic challenges. With the Lounge's troupe members becoming increasingly distracted by personal problems and a threat coming from a wealthy businessman's quest to buy the spot from Tess, the good fortune seems to have abandoned the club altogether. Meanwhile, the life of Ali, a small-town girl from Iowa, is about to change dramatically. Hired by Tess as a waitress at the Lounge, Ali escapes a hollow past and quickly falls in love with the art of burlesque. Backed by newfound friends amongst the theater's crew, she manages to fulfill her dreams of being on stage herself. Things take a dramatic turn though when Ali's big voice makes her become the main attraction of the revue (Bobby Jhonn, imdb.es)

Sinopsis: El Burlesque Lounge deja sus mejores dias atrás. Tess, la propietaria del local y bailarina retirada, lucha para mantener abierto su teatro, enfrentándose a todo tipo de retos financieros y artísticos. La buena fortuna parece haber abandonado el local ya que todo el perosnal comienza a distraerse debido a problemas personales, y a la aparición en escena de un hombre de negocios que quiere comprar el club. Mientras tanto la vida de Ali, una chica de un pequeño pueblo en Iowa, va a cambiar drásticamente. Tess contrata a Ali como camarera del Burlesque. Siempre ha querido cantar en el escenario, y con el apoyo de sus nuevos amigos lo consigue. Sin embargo la gran voz de Ali, que la convierte en el centro de atención del club, hace que la antigua protagonista del show le ponga las cosas muy difíciles.

TRADITIONAL XMAS WALK AROUND MADRID

Every year at Christmas time my family and I go to the City Center and walk around visiting some traditional Christmas places in Madrid. First of all we go to Cortilandia, which is a show with music and big figures in motion that happens every Christmas in Madrid. Here you have two pictures, one of the figures and the other one of the people that goes to see it.

Cada año mi familia y yo vamos al Centro y visitamos algunos lugares tradicionales de Navidad en Madrid. Lo primero es ver Cortilandia, que es un espectaculo con canciones y figuras que se mueves, y que ocurre cada año en Navidad. Aqui teneis dos fotos, una de las figuras y la otra de la gente que va a verlo

Then we go to FNAC, which a huge book, tv, media, etc store and we usually buy 1 or 2 books. This year I got two by my favourite author, Nicholas Sparks: Dear John and Safe Haven.

Luego vamos a la FNAC, que es una tienda de libros, tv, audio, etc enorme. Normalement compramos 1 o 2 libros. Este año yo me he comprado dos de mi autor favorito, Nicholas Sparks: Dear John y Safe Haven.

After all that we have lunch....a very traditional Xmas lunch heheheh Squid Sandwich. Here it's the place were we buy then and all the people that do the same as we do. The other picture it's me and my little cousins eating the sandwiches...yummy!!!

Después de todo esto comemos...pero una comida muy tradicional de Navidad jejejeje Bocata de Calamares. Este es el lugar donde los compramos y toda la gente que hace lo mismo que nosotros. La otra somos mis primos peques y yo comiendonos el bocata...delicioso!!!

This las pic it's my mun with a fireman. Every year they make a naked calendar to raise money. This year the money is going to the families of the firemen who died in the World Trade Center in September 11th 2001.

Esta última foto es mi madre con un bombero. Cada año hacen un calendario sexy para recaudar dinero. Este año el dinero se destinará a las familias de los bomberos que murieron en el World Trade Center el 11 de Septiembre de 2001.

XMAS DINNER :D

Yesterday we went to my grandparents house to have dinner, we have also gone today for lunch, to celebrate Christmas :D Here you have some pictures!!!!

I LOVE MY HAIR

I went to the hairdresser today because it is full moon today and I had to cut the ends of my hair so it grows faster. In Norwich I've never realized how much my hair had grown because I don't have another mirror to be able to see my back. But today after the hairdresser I look my back on the mirror and I saw how much it has grown.....I LOVE IT

Hoy he ido a la peluqueria porque es luna llena hoy y tenia que cortarme las puntas para que el pelo me crezca mas rápido. En Norwich no me daba cuenta de lo mucho que me habia crecido el pelo porque no tenia otro espejo en el cual mirarme por detras, pero hoy después de la peluqueria me he mirado por detras y he visto cuaando me ha crecido el pelo....ME ENCANTA

CRAZY DAY

Today has been the craziest day in my lfie. All began yesterday morning when I saw in the Norwich Airpot webpage that my flight for December 19th was cancelled. To make sure it was true I went into KLM website and it said it was definitely cancelled. (see the pictures)

Hoy ha sido el dia mas loco de mi vida. Todo empezó ayer cuando vi en la pagina del aeropuerto de Norwich, que mi vuelo del dia 19 de diciembre habia sido cancelado. Para comprobar que era verdad, fui a la pagina de KLM y decia que estaba cancelado definitivamente (ver fotos)

I decided to buy a ticket for Monday from Stansted to Madrid with Ryanair, and a coach ticket to get from Norwich to Stansted. Well everything was sorted out, and I planed to go shopping today and then finish packing. However plans changed this morning.

Decidí comprar un billete para el lunes de Stansted a Madrid con Ryanaiir, y un billete de bus para ir de Norwich a Stansted. Bueno todo estaba bajo control, y decidi irme hoy a comprar y terminar de hacer las maletas. Sin embargo los planes cambiaron esta mañana.

I woke up today at 9 am because Laura texted me. As I was awake, I turn on my laptop and check my email, facebook, and then decided to check Norwich airport website. In the website it said my flight was checking in at the moment. I PANIC!!!!!! So I packed everything so quickly, called a taxi and rush to the airport. I arrived 5 minutes before the check in counter close. I catch the fligh to Amsterdam, and after 3 hours in Amsterdam, my flight to Madrid. Now I'm at home after a crazy journey.

Me desperte a las 9 de la mañana porque Laura me mandó un sms. Como ya estaba despierta, encendí mi portatil, miré mi mail y facebook, y luego em meti en la pagina del aeropuerto de Norwich. En la pagina web decia que mi vuelo estaba facturando. ENTRE EN PANICO!!!!! Asi que hice las maletas corriendo, llamé a un taxi y me fui corriendo al aeropuerto. Llegué 5 minutos antes de que cerraran el mostrador de facturación. Cogi el vuelo hasta Amsterdam, y despues de tres horas en Amsterdam, mi vuelo a Madrid. Ahora ya estoy en Madrid después de un dia super loco.

However I'm sad because some of my friends are stuck in London and cannot come home :(

Sin embargo estoy triste porque algunas de mis amigas estan atrapadas en Londres y no pueden volver a casa :(
