Hace como un mes mas o menos entre en Sephora a cotillear a ver que tenían nuevo y encontré unas pegatinas para hacer la manicura.

Según decían en la caja, era una manera fácil y rápida de hacerse la manicura y duraba unos 15 dias. El precio es de al rededor de 7 euros.

Hay muchos modelos de manicura: colores lisos, estampados y manicura francesa.

Ponerse las pegatinas es muy fácil. Para la manicura francesa se pone primero la pegatina blanca (son mas grandes que tu uña pero se parten muy facilmente mentiéndola debajo de tu uña y tirando), y despues la pegatina rosita.

Quedan genial. Aquí tenéis una foto del resultado en las uñas de mi sis :)

Bueno aqui estamos en Hurst College, otra vez trabajando en verano con Interway. Estoy con un grupo de 14 niños que son unos cielos la verdad. Algo de guerrilla dan pero bueno es normal.

Ayer por la mañana firme las escrituras de mi piso en Sanse. Después de tres añitos esperando ya tengo las llaves en mi poder :) Todo parece genial etc pero ahora toca pagar hipoteca, amueblar el piso, pagar luz y agua...es decir, gastos gastos gastos...Que estrés!!!!!

Yesterday morning I signed the papers for my new flat in Sanse. After 3 years waiting for it, I finally have the keys :D Everything looks great now, but now it's time to start paying the mortgage, furniture, bills...i.e spending a lot of money!!!!

On Tuesday I went to the cinema to watch Burlesque with Cristina. Everytime we go to the movies we go to Yelmo Cines Ideal where they show movies in Original version ;)

El Martes fui al cine con Cristina a ver Burlesque. Cada vez que vamos al cine lo hacemos en los Yelmo Cines Ideal porque las películas son en V.O.S (Versión Original Subtitulada)

We absolutely loved the movie. The music is awesome, the performances are great and the choreographies are amazing. You cannot take you eyes off the screen!!!! Christina Aguilera's voice lets you speechless.

Storyline: The Burlesque Lounge has its best days behind it. Every year at Christmas time my family and I go to the City Center and walk around visiting some traditional Christmas places in Madrid. First of all we go to Cortilandia, which is a show with music and big figures in motion that happens every Christmas in Madrid. Here you have two pictures, one of the figures and the other one of the people that goes to see it.

Cada año mi familia y yo vamos al Centro y visitamos algunos lugares tradicionales de Navidad en Madrid. I went to the hairdresser today because it is full moon today and I had to cut the ends of my hair so it grows faster. In Norwich I've never realized how much my hair had grown because I don't have another mirror to be able to see my back. But today after the hairdresser I look my back on the mirror and I saw how much it has grown.....I LOVE IT

Today has been the craziest day in my lfie. All began yesterday morning when I saw in the Norwich Airpot webpage that my flight for December 19th was cancelled. To make sure it was true I went into KLM website and it said it was definitely cancelled. (see the pictures)

Hoy ha sido el dia mas loco de mi vida. Todo empezó ayer cuando vi en la pagina del aeropuerto de Norwich, que mi vuelo del dia 19 de diciembre habia sido cancelado. Para comprobar que era verdad, fui a la pagina de KLM y decia que estaba cancelado definitivamente (ver fotos)

I decided to buy a ticket for Monday from Stansted to Madrid with Ryanair, and a coach ticket to get from Norwich to Stansted. Well everything was sorted out, and I planed to go shopping today and then finish packing. However plans changed this morning.

Decidí comprar un billete para el lunes de Stansted a Madrid con Ryanaiir, y un billete de bus para ir de Norwich a Stansted. Bueno todo estaba bajo control, y decidi irme hoy a comprar y terminar de hacer las maletas. Sin embargo los planes cambiaron esta mañana.

I woke up today at 9 am because Laura texted me. As I was awake, I turn on my laptop and check my email, facebook, and then decided to check Norwich airport website. In the website it said my flight was checking in at the moment. I PANIC!!!!!! So I packed everything so quickly, called a taxi and rush to the airport. I arrived 5 minutes before the check in counter close. I catch the fligh to Amsterdam, and after 3 hours in Amsterdam, my flight to Madrid. Now I'm at home after a crazy journey.

Me desperte a las 9 de la mañana porque Laura me mandó un sms. Como ya estaba despierta, encendí mi portatil, miré mi mail y facebook, y luego em meti en la pagina del aeropuerto de Norwich. En la pagina web decia que mi vuelo estaba facturando. ENTRE EN PANICO!!!!! Asi que hice las maletas corriendo, llamé a un taxi y me fui corriendo al aeropuerto. Llegué 5 minutos antes de que cerraran el mostrador de facturación. Cogi el vuelo hasta Amsterdam, y despues de tres horas en Amsterdam, mi vuelo a Madrid. Ahora ya estoy en Madrid después de un dia super loco.

I can't believe it!!!! I'm in :D We had try outs today to show the captain and the coaches our skills as flyers, bases and backs. I was so nervous I thought I had messed up all my performance. After watching Grease 2 with Ana, I checked my facebook page and there it was, a private message fron the UEA Angels Cheerleading. I wasn't expecting an answer that soon!!!!! I was so nervous while reading the message and suddenly I found my name on the list of the girls who had made the squad. I'M SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!

No me lo puedo creer!!!!! Estoy en el equipo :D Hoy han tenido lugar las pruebas para demostrarle a la capitana y las entrenadoras nuestras habilidades como flyers, bases y backs. Estaba tan nerviosa que pense que la habia cagado durante todas las pruebas. Des pués de ver Grease 2 con Ana, he mirado mi página de facebook y ahi estaba, un mensaje privado de los UEA Angels Cheeleading. No me esperaba una respuesta tan pronto!!!! Estaba super nerviosa mientras leia el mensaje y de repente vi mi nombre en la lista de las chicas que habian entrado en el equipo. ESTOY TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN CONTENTA!!!!!

ANDRES' VISIT TO NORWICH

Andres arrived to England 5 days ago. He arrived to Standsted airport at 8 a.m Wednesday the 27th. We spent the day in London. Here you have some pics.

Andres llegó a Inglaterra hace 2 dias. LLegó a el aeropuerto de Standsted a las 8 el miercoles 27. Pasamos el dia en Londres y aqui os dejo alguna fotitos.

Unfortunatley he could only stay 4 nights, so he left yesterday morning. I now miss him sooo much, even though I thought I wouldn't.

Last weekend Ana, Melania and I went to Cambridge. We woke up at 8 to arrive very early to the station so we could buy the train tickets. However, when we arrived the cashier lady told us the train we had to take had a one hour stop at stockmarket, and then we had to change trains :S so we arrived to Cambridge at 12 :S

El finde pasado Ana, Melania y yo fuimos a Cambridge. Nos levantamos a las 8 para llegar super pronto a la estación y poder comprar los billetes de tren. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos la mujer de la taquilla nos dijo que el tren que cogiamos tenia una parada de una hora en Stockmarket y luego teniamos que cambiar de tren, asi que llegamos a Cambridge a las 12 :S

Unfortunately someone step into my seat with some mud on his/her shoe and I seat on it. My jeans were all dirty when I get out the gondola. So we went to the toilet, I took my jeans off, cleaned them and dried them withh the hand drier. LOL

Desafortunadamente, alguien piso mi asiento y llevaba barro en sus zapatos. Yo me senté encima y mis vaqueros se ensuciarion. Asi que fuimos a un baño, me quité los pantalones, los lavé y los sequé con el secador de manos. XD

BEAUTIFUL SUNNY SUNDAY IN NORWICH

Last Sunday Melania and I decided to go for a walk in Norwich. However we ended up in Earlham Park having a cup of tea hehehehe. For those who don't know it, the park is just crossing the road from the Uni residence.

El Domingo pasado, Melania y yo decidimos ir a dar una vuelta por Norwich. Sin embargo, terminamos tomando un te en Earlham Park jejejeje. Para aquellos que no lo sepan, el parque esta justo cruzando la calle de la resi.

It was a beautiful sunny sunday, and the cafe where we had the tea was sooo cheap that we're definitely coming back next Sunday.

Fue un precioso domingo soleado, y la cafeteria donde tomamos el te era taaaaaan barata que volvemos fijo el próximo domingo.

Then we dediced to take a picture climbing a tree but it was impossible. So we decided to follow a path to see where it will take us. It was the worst idea ever. We ended up in quicksand and full of mud. Despite how dirty we ended up after the walk, we had lots of fun hehehehe.

Luego decidimos ir a hacernos unas fotos subiendo a un árbol, pero fue imposible. Así que decidimos seguir un camino a ver a donde nos llevaba. Fue la peor idea del mundo. Terminamos een arenas movedizas y llenas de barro. A pesar de lo sucias que terminamos después del paseito, nos reimos un montón.

Finally we arrived to a safe place, far away from the quicksand. It was a football field so we decided to stay and watch the guys while they were training.

Al final llegamos a un lugar mas seguro, lejos de las arenas movedizas.Era un campo de rugby, asi que decidimos quedarnos a ver a los chicos entrenar.

JOB INTERVIEW IN ATTLEBOROUGH

Yesterday I went to Attleborough, a village 20 minute far from Norwich, for a job interview. I though the bus was going to arrive later to the train station but I was wrong. I arrived almost 1 hour before the train leaves, so I had to wait in the cold for 40 minutes :S

Ayer fui a Attleborough, un pueblo a 20 minutos de Norwich, a una entrevista de trabajo. Pensé que el bus iba a llegar mas tarde a la estación de tren, pero no. Llegué casi 1 hora antes de que el tren saliese, asi que tuve que esperar 40 minutos en el frio de Norwich :S

Una vez en el tren empecé a ponerme nerviosa por la entrevista, asi que me puse a hacer fotos para distraerme. Aqui teneis una de ellas jejeje.

When I arrived to Attleborough, Frank was there waiting for me. We went to grab a cup of tea and he explained to me the nature of the work I was going to do, the income and how often I woild received work to do (it's home-based work). After discussing a bit my CV, we decided to do a test next week and see how comfortable I am working for Infinity Blue.

Cuando llegué, Frank me estaba esperando. Fuimos a tomar un té y me explico en que consistía e trabajo, cuanto pagaban, y como de frecuente era el trabajo que iba a recibir (es trabajo desde casa). Después de hablar sobre mi CV, decidimos hacer una prueba la semana que viene y ver que tal me sentía trabajando para Infinity Blue.

Then It was time to come back to Norwich and go to Morrisons for some food.

UEA ANGELS - I'M A CHEERLEADER - I'M A FLYER

First of all I have to say I was not excited at all to my year abroad in England when my home university made me change my destination from Brussels to Norwich. They made me change at the end of May when I had everything settled in Brussels.

Antes de nada tengo que decir que no estaba nada ilusionada con venir a Inglaterra cuando mi Universidad me hizo cambiar de destino de Bruselas a Norwich. Me hicieron cambiarme a finales de Mayo cuando ya tenia todo preparado para Bruselas.

However everything changed once I arrived to Norwich. People here is kind, friendly and funny. Totally different from what I expected since my first experience with British people in Eastbourne. And now everything is even better. I have to say I'm so happy to be here - don't know if I will be once winter sets up though hehehe.

Sin embargo todo cambió cuando aterricé en Norwich. La gente es muy amable, simpática y divertida, totalmente diferente de lo que había imaginado después de mi primera experiencia con ingleses en Eastbourne.

When I knew I was accepted in UEA I started looking for things to do when in England. Looking into the web page I found the Clubs and Societes site. Suddenly one of the clubs caught my eye: CHEERLEADING. I was so excited about it that immediately I joined the facebook page hehehe.

Cuando supe que me habían aceptado en EUA, empecé a buscar cosas que hacer durante mi estancia en Inglaterra. Mirando la pagina web encontré la pagina de los Clubs y Sociedades. De repente uno de ellos llamó mi atención: LAS ANIMADORAS. Estaba tan emocionada que me uní al grupo de facebook inmediatamente.

Once in UEA I joined the cheerleaders. Last Wednesday was the tester session were a buch of girls like me - passionate about cheerleading- went to try the dance and stunt squad. After stretching we were divided into two groups to try stunt and dance. I first tried stunt and I LOVE IT absolutely LOVE IT. So I've decided to stay in the Stunt squad :D

Ya una vez en UEA, me uni a las animadoras. El pasado miércoles fue la sesión de prueba, donde un montón de chicas igual que yo, probamos el equipo de baile y el de piruetas. Después de estirar, nos dividieron en dos grupos para probar baile y salto. Yo probé primero el de salto y ME ENCANTÓ, LO ADORO. Asi que he decidido que me quedo en el equipo de piruetas :D

In stunts there are three positions: bases, back and flyer. The Bases are the once who lift the flyer into the air; the back is the once who help the flyer to jump into the bases hands and also makes sure that the flyer doesn't fall; the flyer jumps into the bases hands and is lift in the air.

En las piruetas existen tres posiciones: bases, trasera y flyer. Las bases son las encargadas de elevar al flyer en el aire; la trasera es la que ayuda al flyer a saltan en las manos de las ases y también se encarga de controlar que el flyer no se caiga; el flyer es el que salta en las manos de las bases y se eleva en el aire.

It seems easy to be a flyer - which is my position - but is not. You have to be strong and once you are in the air you have to be nice and tight so you dont fall down. On thursday my whole body hurts heheheheh but it worth the pain to be a FLYER. The feeling of being in the air is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

Parece fácil ser flyer, mi posición en el equipo, pero no lo es. Tienes que ser fuerte y una vez en el aire mantenerte muy recta (como un palo) para no caerte. el Jueves me dolia todo el cuerpo jejejeje pero vale la pena por el hecho de ser flyer. La sensación de estar en el aire es genial!!

I'm so happy to be part of the team. My team mates are great, kind, and I love them so much. I only know them for 2 day but they make everything to easy and they've been incredible with me. They are amazing :D

Estoy muy contenta de formar parte del equipo. Mis compañeras son geniales, amables y las adoro. Solo las conozco de 2 dias pero han sido tan geniales conmigo y hacen que todo sea tan fácil...Son geniales :D

LAUNDRY MADNESS

Today was laundry day...however I'm gonna change the day to Wednesday. Why? because today the laundry room was crowded!!!! Anyway, the reason why I'm writing this entry it's because the size of the washing machine and the dryer machine are hilarious. The thing is that we do have a washing machine where the clothes can barely fit, and a dryer machine where a person - in this case me - can fit properly. How funny is that??? Here I post some pics for you to have an idea what I'm talking about :D

Hoy ha sido es dia de la colada, sin embargo voy a cambiarlo a los Miércoles. Porque? pues porque hoy la lavanderia estaba abarrotada!!!! Bueno, la razón por la cual escribo esta entrada es porque el tamaño de la lavadora y la secadora es de risa. El caso es que tenemos una lavadora en la cual la ropa cabe justita, y una secadora en la que cabe una persona, en este caso yo. No me digas que no es para partirse de risa? Yesterday Night we had an Spanish dinner mini Party. We started at 3.30 pm and finished at 7.30...long cooking day.

We thought the firs omelet was going to be scrumble eggs with potatoes instead of a real omelet...but it was PERFECT!!!!!!

Ayer por la noche tuvimos una pequeña cena española. Empezamos a las 3.30 pm y terminamos a las 7.30....largo dia cocinando.

Pensamos que la primera tortilla iba a terminar siendo huevos revueltos con patata en lugar de una tortilla de verdad.....pero fue PERFECTA!!!!!!!

FIRST WEEK OF CLASSES

It's been a while since my last post but I was pretty busy these past few days. I've started classes in UEA and let me tell you it was frustrating.

On Monday I was suppossed to have my oral class in French but the teacher didn't appear. I went to the reception desk and they told me there was no class and tha the teacher had posted and announcement on Blackboard (Like a virtual campus where teachers upload documents for the class) saying there was no class . Anyway, I arrived home, checked the blackboard and guess what...THERE WAS NOT SUCH AN ANNOUNCEMENT.

Ha pasado bastaante tiempo desde mi última actualización, pero he estado bastante ocupada estos últimos días. He empezado las clases en UEA, dejad que os diga que ha sido un poco frustrante.

el Lunes se supone que empezaba una clase oral en francés, pero la profesora no apareció. Baje a recepción y me dijeron que no había clase y que la profesora había colgado un anuncio en el Blackboard (Un campus virtuall donde los profesores cuelgan documentos para la clase) diciendo que no habia clase. Bueno, llegue a casa, mire el Blackboard y sabeis que? NO HABIA NINGÚN ANUNCIO!!!!

This class is gonna be the hardest one because my classmates are all british that have arrived from their year abroad in France. And their oral is amazing!!!! We have to do a lot of homeworks for that subject :S. We have to do a 2000 words essay in French, and oral test that is very difficult, and watch a bunch of films in French.

I had on Tuesday another class which seems pretty easy. It's called Translation Theory and Practice. We have to make a 2000 words translation and 2000 commentary about a ttext in English. I think I'm going to choose a passage from "Heiresses" which is not easy and not too complex.

The last subject I have is French Through the eye of the lens. We analyse French society through French movies. I also have to watch a bunch of films in French but it's ok :D

Esa es la clase que me va a matar porque mis compañeros de clase son todos británicos que han vuelto de estar un año en Francia. Su oral es impresionante!!! Tenemos que hacer miles de deberes para esta asignatura :S Tenemos que hacer un trabajo de 2000 palabras en francés, un examen oral super difícil, y ver un millón de películas.

El Martes tuve otra clase que parece bastante fácil. Se llama Translation Theory and Practice. Tenemos que hacer una traducción de 2000 palabras y un comentario sobre la traducción de otras 2000 palabras de un texto en Inglés. Creo que voy a escoger un capítulo de "Herederas" el cual no es fácil pero tampoco muy complejo.

La última asignatura que tengo este semestre es France tthrough the eye of the lens. Analizamos la sociedad francesa a través de peliculas francesas. Aquí también tengo que ver muchisimas pelis en francés, pero bueno :D

On Tuesday the International Students Society organized a party. It was pretty fun and I met a lot of chinese people who were impressed when I started talking to them in mandarin :D They are all so cute and funny!!!!!

El martes la asociación de estudiantes internacionales organizó una fiesta. Fue bastante divertida y conocí a mucha gente de China. Se quedaron boquiabiertos cuando les empecé a hablar en mandarin :D Son mas monosssss y mas graciosssss!!!

On Wednesday I went with Melania to the city center to buy some stuff. When we were comming back, the police closed thhe road the bus should follow to arrive to university so we had to change our route. We spend an hour trapped in the bus :S

El Miércoles baje con Melania al centro a comprar cosas. Cuando estábamos volviendo, la policía corto la calle que el bus tenía que seguir para llevarnos a la uni, asi que tuvimos que cambiar la ruta. Estuvimos una hora atrapadas en el bus :s

When arrived at home Melania wanted to put his milk into the fridge so badly, that she broke it hehehehehe

Cuando llegamos, Melania queria meter como fuese su leche en la nevera, tanto que la rompió jejejej.

Rainy Days in Norwich

It's been raining since I arrived to Norwich last Wednesday. It's kind of depressing to wake up and see that's raining. However that's how the weather is like in England LOL. As I told you before I live in the University Village and I have to walk like 15 minutes everyday to the main campus. It maybe seems a lot of time walking but actually is not that much. Here you have a picture of the entrance into THE VILLAGE.

Ha estado lloviendo desde que llegue a Norwich. La verdad es que es un poco deprimente levantarse y ver que esta lloviendo. Sin embargo el tiempo en Inglaterra es asi XD. Como os dije anteriormente, vivo en el University Village y tengo que andar todos los dias durante 15 minutos para llegar al campus. Puede parece mucho tiempo andando pero en realidad no es tanto. I bought a pair of boots from the brand Spanish XTI and the first day I wore them the fabric of the boot began peeled, so I decided I had to buy immediatly a Rubber Boots. I went to the city center to buy them. When I arrived there I also saw this amazing hat and I had to buy it. Now I'm ready for the cold winter in Norwich.

Me compré unas botas de la marca española XTI y el primer dia que me las puse el material del que esáan hecha se empezó a pelar, asi que decidí comprarme unas botas de agua inmediatamente. Fui a la ciudad a comprarlas y cuando llegue vi este gorro tan genial y me lo tuve que comprar. Ahora ya estoy preparada para el frio invierno en Norwich.

There are two bars on campus. The Red Bar (with red sofas) and the Blue bar (with blue sofas). Can you guess which bar are we in????

It's a great place to be and have a chat with your friends...however drinks are kind of expensive. 1.90 for a little glass of malibu pineapple :S

Hay dos bares en el campus. El Red Bar (con sillones rojos) y el Blue Bar (con sillones azules). ¿Podeis adivinar donde estamos nosotras?

Es un lugar genial para estar y hablar con tus amigos. Sin embargo las bebidas son un poco caras. Casi 4 euros por un mini vaso de malibu con piña :S

From now on the blog will be in two languages: English and Spanish. I do this because there's maybe some people who want to read my blog now I'm on England, but that so not know English at all.

The picture you see below are the shoppinng bags from today. It was definitely a crazy shopping day. There was too many things to buy for the kitchen and the room and bathroom. It was also crazy because on our way back to Uni it started raining and we were walking all the way with thousands of shopping bags :S.

We walked a lot from the bus stop to the Residence and now I'm soooooooooo tired!!!!!

However the worst part of today was that I opened my UEA email to find out I have a lot of things to do for one of my classes; and thatI have to hand in thousands of essays during the semester. I also have an oral exam pretty difficult all in French. I will post the guides for the exam tomorrow. Now I'm so tired I'm going to bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long long day.

De ahora en adeltante el blog estará escrito en dos idiomas. inglés y español. Lo hago porque quizas algunas personas empiecen a leer mi blog ahora que estoy en Norwich y no sepan inglés.

La foto que veis abajo son las bolsas de la compra de hoy.Ha sido desde luego un dia de locura. Teniamos que comprar demasiadas cosas para la cocina, habitacion y baño. Ha sido ademas una locura porque ha empezado a llover cuando volviamos a la Uni con miles de bolsas en la mano :S

Hemos andado muchisimo desde la parada del bus hasta la resi y ahora estoy muyyyyyyyy cansada.

Lo peor del dia de hoy ha sido el llegar a casa, abrir el email de la Uni y enncontrarme con que tengo un moontón de cosas que hacer para una de mis clases, y que tengo que entregar millones de trabajos. Tmbién tengo un examen oral en francés bastante dificil. Mañana colgare las instrucciones del examen para que lo veais.

Ahora estoy tan cansada que me voy a dormir. Mañana va a ser un largo dia!!!

After an 8 hours trips I finally arrived to Norwich. I was all alone in my apartment untill 11pm where my next door roomie arrived...and guess what.. she's spanish LOL

I have everyhting unpacked and this is how my room looks like now :D

Tomorrow I have met with two other Spanish girls at 9 am to go to Norwich City Center to buy some groceries for the kitchen ;)

THE KARATE KID

Yesterday afternoon I took my little cousins to watch THE KARATE KID. I was thrilled to finally being able to watch the movie.

I have to say that the movie is AWESOMEEEEEEE. Jade Smith performance is breathtaking, and Jackie Chang is amazing as always. I laugh a lot and I also cry.

The kung fu moves are impressive and the soundtrack is really good.

I have to say you won0t be dissappointed with the movie :D

VOGUE FASHION NIGHT OUT RECAP

A great nigth...I told you, if u are not going you will regret it.

We arrive at 7.50 to Serrano and it was literally crowded. Our first stop was Carolina Herrera because they have a give away if you waer your nails in red. However when we arrived to the store, a poster said "we are closed...you can find us in Serrano 16" - which was so far away.

On our way down to CH we saw the Photocall in Chopard and decided to give it a try. We arrived and ask the photographer if he could take us a picture (he did it and printed the photo for us!!!! I will scaned it and upload it)

The one you see here is with my camera. The one the photographer took is much better.

We were a bit mad because we walked a lot to CH and now we had to walk all the way back :S. Fortunately we saw some cars with the Logo VFNO, and they took us to the other CH. It was crazy!!!!!

The driver drove way too fast that some picture we took during the ride were blurry hehehehe.

The queue was endless, and the gift was worthless. We decided not to wait the queue and we headed to other place: Trucco. There we drank champagne rosè!!!!

We were exhausted from walking from there to here, etc and suddenly we saw the VFNO cars again!!!! We took them and went to Vasari. We enter into Vasari with no objections...but for the cocktails they ask for a golden passport which we didn0t have so they tell us we had to go :(

Then we went to Juicy Couture. It was crazy!!!! there was a carousel, pictures printed in the moment and mojitos!!!!!! We had an amazing time there

And finally my favourite store of all times - TYFFANY & CO - I tried on my future engagement ring. It the Tyffany Setting, size 6, 0.65 carats :D

Today I went to "Casa Asia" to pick up my HSK certificates. I made the exams in May - I have to say I made them in a hurry because I learn about the exams so late in time. I didn't have much time to study and though I was going to fail the HSK 2 but I didn't!!!!!!!

I'm soooooooooooooooo happy.

The HSK is the Chinese Proficieny Test :D now I can say I'm level 2 in Mandarin!!!!!

25 YEARS ANNIVERSARY

Although they got married the 7th, we celebrated yesterday with my grandparents that my parents have been married for 25 years already!!!!!!

I missed so much my grand mother who died 6 years ago :(

As an anniversary present my sister and I gave them a photo album we created with the program Hofmann!!!! Here you can see the result..it's a 40 pages photo album but I just uploaded some pics :D

2010 VOGUE FASHION'S NIGHT OUT

On September the 9th, Madrid celebrates the 2nd edition of the VOGUE FASHION'S NIGHT OUT, where 250 stores will open their doors from 8 pm untill midnight. In this event people would be able to buy the most exclusive designs, and will also beneficiate from great discounts.

To the VFNO, a vast number of Spanish celebrities will make an appearance. It's a great opportunity to meet some of your idols!!!!

Ortega y Gasset street will be closed to traffic because a great fashion show will take place on it. The FNO will be divided into three areas: Serrano, Fuencarral and Gran Via.

Each store will have its own party. Some will have cocktails, or fashion shows, a lucky draw, djs, food, etc, etc, etc...so IF YOU LIKE FASHION...YOU CAN'T MISS IT!!!!!

The VOGUE FASHION'S NIGHT OUT will take place in 16 cities all over the world. This amazing event starts September the 7^th in Paris. The next day, September the 8^th, it's time for Seoul and London. The 9^th the FNO will be in Madrid, Sydney, Berlin, Milan and Lisbon. The following day, September thhe 10^th, we are moving to New Dheli, New York City, and Moscow. Then arrive Beijing, Tokyo and Taipei the 11th. Finally Athens and Istambul the 16^th.

I've been watching for a while an MTV reality show called THE CITY. I have to say I was amazed by this reality, as well as I am with Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Watching the show I realized that I would love to work for a fashion brand in the near future. Don't know which one yet, but I will let you all know as soon as I figure it out.

The reality takes place in New York City. As I wrote once in my Facebook Status "I'm going to live in NYC", and after watching the show my desire of living in NYC has grown :D

The City is an MTV reality television series. As the first spin-off of another MTV series, The Hills, it follows one of the show's former cast members, Whitney Port, as she moves to New York City to work for fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg.

After a relatively unsuccessful first half season, the show was revamped, dropping all of the main characters except for Whitney and Olivia Palermo. Port rejoined her former boss Kelly Cutrone at the public relations firm, People's Revolution, while Palermo joined the staff of Elle magazine. The new format also saw the addition of two new main characters, Roxy Olin and Erin Kaplan, as well as several recurring characters.

From the two main characters fo the show I personally like Whitney Port. I think Olivia Palermo behaves like a spolied child.and clearly makes everything she can to destroy Whitney. I hope she's only acting so the real Olivia is actually nicer.

I love Olivia's style, she know how to dress. I also love Whitney's fashion collection - WHITNEY EVE-, is fresh and very girly sexy.

This pic is from one episode where I started hating Olivia a little bit. She gets and assigment in DVF. The assignment consist on selecting some outfits to send to ELLE Magazine in NYC, fot a Jessica Alba cover shoot. Whitney was supposed to help her.

Olivia is a little bit jealous of Whitney so she doesn't agree whit the outfit choices Whitney made. Finally she agrees to include one of Whitney's choices - a flower printed jacket and a matching skirt-

Few weeks later DVF receives the cover from Elle and the outfit selected for the cover is the one Whitney had chosen. However when They ask them who was the one to put together the winner outfit for the cover, Olivia says it was all her idea. Moreover, she receives a lot of recognition for that and an offer to go to the UK for an event.

She's like a little bitch don't you think???

As I said...I hope she was only acting for the show.

Last Saturday I watched THE BLIND SIDE. I have to say that the movie is amazing, it makes you cry and laugh a lot. The best thing about the movie is that the story is a real story, and the performance of Sandra Bullock is awesome. That's why she won the 2009 oscar to the best actress :D

The Blind Side is based on the remarkable true story of Baltimore Ravens offensive left tackle Michael Oher. He grew up in the inner city housing projects with his mother in Memphis, Tennessee aptly named "Hurt Village". Michael's story begins with him being homeless and coming from a broken home with a drug-addicted mother, and an absentee father. Because of his family circumstances, Family Services took control of his life as he was growing up. Unfortunately, he was being bounced around in and out of foster homes, and now as a teenager he has taken it upon himself that he would rather be homeless. By a stroke of luck, and the coach's wish for a player the size of Michael, he ends up enrolling in a private Christian school where the Tuohy kids go. Michael is a quiet person. Michael is befriended by S.J. Tuohy (Jae Head), the youngest Tuohy whose connection to Michael starts the ball rolling

One icy winter night, as Michael is walking down the road to the school gym, where he is sleeping, Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) with her husband Sean (Tim McGraw) and children Jae and Collins (Lily Collins) pick Michael up and take him home for the night. An opportunity arises for Michael to play at university level.
