It's been a while since my last post but I was pretty busy these past few days. I've started classes in UEA and let me tell you it was frustrating.
On Monday I was suppossed to have my oral class in French but the teacher didn't appear. I went to the reception desk and they told me there was no class and tha the teacher had posted and announcement on Blackboard (Like a virtual campus where teachers upload documents for the class) saying there was no class . Anyway, I arrived home, checked the blackboard and guess what...THERE WAS NOT SUCH AN ANNOUNCEMENT.
Ha pasado bastaante tiempo desde mi última actualización, pero he estado bastante ocupada estos últimos días. He empezado las clases en UEA, dejad que os diga que ha sido un poco frustrante.
el Lunes se supone que empezaba una clase oral en francés, pero la profesora no apareció. Baje a recepción y me dijeron que no había clase y que la profesora había colgado un anuncio en el Blackboard (Un campus virtuall donde los profesores cuelgan documentos para la clase) diciendo que no habia clase. Bueno, llegue a casa, mire el Blackboard y sabeis que? NO HABIA NINGÚN ANUNCIO!!!!
This class is gonna be the hardest one because my classmates are all british that have arrived from their year abroad in France. And their oral is amazing!!!! We have to do a lot of homeworks for that subject :S. We have to do a 2000 words essay in French, and oral test that is very difficult, and watch a bunch of films in French.
I had on Tuesday another class which seems pretty easy. It's called Translation Theory and Practice. We have to make a 2000 words translation and 2000 commentary about a ttext in English. I think I'm going to choose a passage from "Heiresses" which is not easy and not too complex.
The last subject I have is French Through the eye of the lens. We analyse French society through French movies. I also have to watch a bunch of films in French but it's ok :D
Esa es la clase que me va a matar porque mis compañeros de clase son todos británicos que han vuelto de estar un año en Francia. Su oral es impresionante!!! Tenemos que hacer miles de deberes para esta asignatura :S Tenemos que hacer un trabajo de 2000 palabras en francés, un examen oral super difícil, y ver un millón de películas.
El Martes tuve otra clase que parece bastante fácil. Se llama Translation Theory and Practice. Tenemos que hacer una traducción de 2000 palabras y un comentario sobre la traducción de otras 2000 palabras de un texto en Inglés. Creo que voy a escoger un capítulo de "Herederas" el cual no es fácil pero tampoco muy complejo.
La última asignatura que tengo este semestre es France tthrough the eye of the lens. Analizamos la sociedad francesa a través de peliculas francesas. Aquí también tengo que ver muchisimas pelis en francés, pero bueno :D
On Tuesday the International Students Society organized a party. It was pretty fun and I met a lot of chinese people who were impressed when I started talking to them in mandarin :D They are all so cute and funny!!!!!
El martes la asociación de estudiantes internacionales organizó una fiesta. Fue bastante divertida y conocí a mucha gente de China. Se quedaron boquiabiertos cuando les empecé a hablar en mandarin :D Son mas monosssss y mas graciosssss!!!
On Wednesday I went with Melania to the city center to buy some stuff. When we were comming back, the police closed thhe road the bus should follow to arrive to university so we had to change our route. We spend an hour trapped in the bus :S
El Miércoles baje con Melania al centro a comprar cosas. Cuando estábamos volviendo, la policía corto la calle que el bus tenía que seguir para llevarnos a la uni, asi que tuvimos que cambiar la ruta. Estuvimos una hora atrapadas en el bus :s
When arrived at home Melania wanted to put his milk into the fridge so badly, that she broke it hehehehehe
Cuando llegamos, Melania queria meter como fuese su leche en la nevera, tanto que la rompió jejejej.
And here we are cooking lunch in our kitchen :D
Y aquí estamos haciendo la comidita en nuestra cocina :D
