On Tuesday I went to the cinema to watch Burlesque with Cristina. Everytime we go to the movies we go to Yelmo Cines Ideal where they show movies in Original version ;)
El Martes fui al cine con Cristina a ver Burlesque. Cada vez que vamos al cine lo hacemos en los Yelmo Cines Ideal porque las películas son en V.O.S (Versión Original Subtitulada)
We absolutely loved the movie. The music is awesome, the performances are great and the choreographies are amazing. You cannot take you eyes off the screen!!!! Christina Aguilera's voice lets you speechless.
Nos encantó la película. La musica es increible, las actuaciones son geniales y las correografias impresionantes. Es imposible apartar la vista de la pantalla, y la voz de Christina Aguilera te deja sin palabras.
Storyline: The Burlesque Lounge has its best days behind it. Tess, a retired dancer and owner of the venue, struggles to keep the aging theater alive, facing all kinds of financial and artistic challenges. With the Lounge's troupe members becoming increasingly distracted by personal problems and a threat coming from a wealthy businessman's quest to buy the spot from Tess, the good fortune seems to have abandoned the club altogether. Meanwhile, the life of Ali, a small-town girl from Iowa, is about to change dramatically. Hired by Tess as a waitress at the Lounge, Ali escapes a hollow past and quickly falls in love with the art of burlesque. Backed by newfound friends amongst the theater's crew, she manages to fulfill her dreams of being on stage herself. Things take a dramatic turn though when Ali's big voice makes her become the main attraction of the revue (Bobby Jhonn, imdb.es)
Sinopsis: El Burlesque Lounge deja sus mejores dias atrás. Tess, la propietaria del local y bailarina retirada, lucha para mantener abierto su teatro, enfrentándose a todo tipo de retos financieros y artísticos. La buena fortuna parece haber abandonado el local ya que todo el perosnal comienza a distraerse debido a problemas personales, y a la aparición en escena de un hombre de negocios que quiere comprar el club. Mientras tanto la vida de Ali, una chica de un pequeño pueblo en Iowa, va a cambiar drásticamente. Tess contrata a Ali como camarera del Burlesque. Siempre ha querido cantar en el escenario, y con el apoyo de sus nuevos amigos lo consigue. Sin embargo la gran voz de Ali, que la convierte en el centro de atención del club, hace que la antigua protagonista del show le ponga las cosas muy difíciles.
