TIGER WOODS´CAR ACCIDENT

World No. 1 men's golfer Tiger Woods was slightly injured early Friday when he drove his Cadillac SUV into a tree near his home in an exclusive waterfront community in Orlando, Florida. Woods was pulling out of his neighborhood when he struck a fire hydrant and then a tree around 0730 hours UTC Friday.

The 33-year-old golfer was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released. He is reported in good condition and his agent said Woods is "fine." The Florida Highway Patrol said alcohol was not involved in the accident and no one else was in the car. Early reports said that Woods suffered facial lacerations but a hospital spokeswoman said the injuries were minor.
